Stealthed Wasp Regiment

Dear SWR members and visitors alike.

SWR now have a policies section, in the "About Us!" tab at the top of the page.

I suggest you check it out to ensure that you fully understand what we are about.

The policies section is mainly about rules and what kind of powers we have over your maps (basically none.)

So, with that out of the way, you can create your maps with no worries about what horrible things are going to happen to you if you sign up.

Enjoy the ride, guys, it's only just beginning!

Hey guys.

I found a video on GameSpot, from a guy under the name of Dimmu_Jed. His Gamespot account can be seen here;

http://uk.gamespot.com/users/Dimmu_Jed/

The thread title was something a long the lines of "I asked my girlfriend to marry me, through LBP!"

Now, I don't think this video was recording the first time the girl had seen it, because I don't hear a yes, or hear much excitement. I do hear a gasp from a girl though. So you can decide.

     In this level for the song it was mainly these sounds put together to make it, i dont know exactly how he could have but it was a great experience on this level!  All you have to do is push this block towards the end and as it goes it plays to zanarkand.  I had to keep restarting as you need to find the right speed on this level!

I think everybody has seen this video now.

The first time I saw this video, I wasn't very intrigued. I sat there, thought, wow thats a calculator, cool... and then he started flying up.

And up.... and up.... and I realised what all the fuss and hype was about. Absolutely outstanding. I remember seeing figures somewhere of how many strings and emulators he used, and it was nearing its thousands.

One can only imagine how long it actually took him to make that level.

If you haven't seen this video, it's well worth checking out. Also, check his thermometer on the left. Does that look full to you?

This video (On The Right) shows how the seemingly overwhelming create mode is actually quite simple and easy to pick up, making it fun produce a vast array of different levels based on whatever you can think of!

As Alex Evans, the co-founder of Media Molecule, shows in this interview a small and challenging level can be created in a matter of 5 minutes. Sure, the more complex and detailed levels might take a couple of hours to get just the way you want it but it’s good that they have catered for both casual and hardcore gamers in this aspect.

Also this video shows that the invincible seeming Sackboys can actually be hurt and sent back to checkpoints. Dangers for the little knitted adventurers include fire, ice and electricity, although ice doesn’t actually kill you, just traps you inside a block of ice if you touch it for too long causing you to break out using the Six-axis’s motion control by shaking your controller. The Sackboys react appropriately to each element and the physics in the place for this game are raising the bar for games to come.

It just goes to show that with a handful of imagination and a bit of spare time LittleBigPlanet gives you the freedom to create whatever you want!

The video on the right is a great example of how a great creative mind can interact with the world of LBP.

A member of the LBP community has created a fantastic musical level. Although we all know about the "Sweet Child O' Mine" found here;

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Yd2fXaqtZMM&eurl

This was the start of the music trend and will be remembered by SWR as the beginning of something beautiful.

This is an old video. If you have any requests on a new one, please contact me either via email (Jasonsnothomeatm@hotmail.co.uk), or on the forum.
